2025 ANSA QLD FISHING FESTIVAL will be hosted by the Hinchinbrook Sportfishing Club

Wednesday 1st October
Meet & Greet starts at 6pm at the Hinchinbrook Clubhouse. Fishing comp
briefing, including rules & categories, current fishing conditions, what’s biting
and a map of the area including green zones will be included.

Thursday 2nd October
Fishing competition commences at 5am with the opportunity to target
hundreds of species in freshwater, estuary, reef and bluewater. From
Jungle perch to Mangrove Jack, Barramundi to Spanish mackerel, and Giant
trevally to Coral trout… Hinchinbrook offers it all!

Friday 3rd October
Because Hinchinbrook offers so many fishing options, this year we’re giving
anglers the opportunity to fish an extra day!
After the days fishing anglers can scrub off in a well-earned shower before
making their way the Lucinda Hotel for the annual Presentation Dinner.

Saturday 4th October
Fishing commences again at 5am and finishes at 12pm (noon). All
captures must be presented to the officials at the Hinchinbrook
clubhouse before 1pm.
The Hinchinbrook Sportfishing club will be providing lunch from
12:30pm (BYO Chairs).
The ANSA QLD AGM will commence after presentation of the fishing
awards.
