General Information
All activities are based at the ‘Lakeside’ section, this includes the ‘Cabins’, ‘Terrace’ powered sites and the ‘Bunkhouse’. The ‘Villas’ and ‘Lookout’ caravan park will require a 3.5km drive to activities and to launch boats. The caravan and recreation park has a kiosk with an assortment of tackle, lures, ice, food, and fuel. There are two boat ramps (a single and a double) and it is expected that the dam will be around 70% capacity. The fish should be on the chew, especially edge bites, and there are Red Claw so be sure to bring some pots. Qld Fisheries are based locally and are regularly present on the dam… don’t forget your SIP permit! (www.qld.gov.au/recreation/activities/boating-fishing/rec-fishing/dams)
